I am a professional translator based in Paris, offering translations in Japanese, English and French language pairs.

I have been regularly engaged in translation work since 2005, and am a member of the Japan Association of Translators (JAT) and the French Literary Translators Association (ATLF).

With a multicultural profile and a fully bilingual educational background, first in Australia then in an international high-school in France, I graduated in both British and French education systems.

Specialised in Social Studies and languages, I hold an M.A. in Social Anthropology (Paris X Nanterre) and a B.A. in Japanese Studies (INALCO / Langues O’).

My areas of specialisation include culture & performing arts, media & journalism, social studies & humanities, literature, marketing.

I translate articles, press releases, brochures and catalogues and questionnaires, website texts, or more technical and administrative documents, and have also been published in literary and academic fields

With professional experience in academic, linguistic and artistic fields, I am also able to research a large range of subjects thoroughly, making full and efficient use of available resources.

I find that the specifics of my background allow me to tune in to cultural and linguistic subtleties, and pride myself on producing fluent, accurate translations in a timely delivery.
