I successfully ran two websites of my own with blogs as a sideline for a number of years. One on living a healthy lifestyle, including ethical choices, organic foods and products, vegan choices in foods and products as well as vegetarian choices.
The other on substance abuse, domestic violence, femicide, the impact of substance abuse and domestic violence on individuals and the people around them, healing through taking back your power, healing through growing spiritual awareness and healing through taking self-responsibility.
In 2013/4 I offered my services to a local animal welfare NPO, raising funds through events, writing all material to market the events, writing web content and social media content to create awareness and to garner support, and I also compiled a monthly newsletter that was emailed to the supporter mailing list. The articles I wrote were on animal care and welfare, events and project outreaches undertaken to assist underprivileged communities and their pets, and the human/animal connection.
I was self-employed in the staff recruitment industry for twenty years and have written website content and many blog posts aimed at both candidates and employers in the industry. I wrote all marketing material content and articles for advertorials to promote my business brand. I have compiled many professional profiles for candidates, written letters of introduction and letters of motivation, compiled detailed job specifications for clients and compiled reports based on market-related research and surveys conducted.
Work Terms
I am a permanent freelance writer, so my working hours are open. I prefer to work on a project basis within an agreed timeframe.
Full payment on completion and acceptance of project work, unless the project is over an extended time - in which case partial payment on completeion of milestones can be agreed.
