These days, I wear many hats, including writer, editor, and business executive. Stories are my passion. Whether it’s working on a novel, editing an article, or managing a creative team, it’s the story that matters.
I’ve learned much from my MFA in Creative Writing and BA in English. The English degree taught me to analyze literature and create interpretations from reader and critic points of view. However, the Creative Writing degree focused on the skills of writing itself, and how to illicit the response you want from your reader.
My passions include writing, reading, and editing children’s literature and genre fiction, and I have a special love for fantasy and science fiction works. Through over twenty years working for a construction consulting firm, I have experience with writing and editing corporate business development content such as curricula vitae, corporate profiles, brochures, website verbiage, and media releases.
