I work to produce accurate translations in order to make communication easier in this globalized world.

I hold several degrees in foreign languages (english and mandarin chinese) as well as in international relations and international cooperation. When I graduated from university I had the opportunity to move to China to work as the country manager of a human-sized french NGO. This was the occasion for me to meet various kind of people, from inspiring farmers from rural China when I was on the field, to the elite of the the expatriate community when I was doing some fundraising.
When my mission ended, as I was perfectly fluent in mandarin chinese and in english, I decided to work as a french language expert for the national publishing group of China. My job consisted of proofreading the official publications of the chinese governement as well as translating and proofreading some novels. I also had to provide a cultural expertise in order to adapt those publications to the expectations of French native speakers.
As I love foreign languages and translation, I started to work as a freelancer before working for this publishing group.
When I decided to leave China, I went to New Zealand for several months where I worked as a volunteer in the morning for some local farmers and did translations during the afternoon. This was also an incredible experience as I only stayed at local people's place.
Now back in France, I keep my love for this globalized world, its cultural differences and its various languages alive by working full-time as a translator and as a proofreader.
