Greg Bowens is an entrepreneur, writer, media figure and public relations professional. He is the owner and proprietor of Bowens & Co. a – a solo practice public and media relations consulting firm based in Grosse Pointe Park, MI operating for nearly two decades in the industry.
Greg has successfully led media and organizing efforts in federal, local and statewide political campaigns, business challenges and sensitive crisis and management issues. His work has moved public policy agendas forward, settled labor strikes, won elections and overcome crises. He is an expert spokesperson and advocate for clients and works tirelessly for positive outcomes even in the most challenging circumstances.
Greg received his B.A. in English from Wayne State University. As a journalist, Greg has covered business and politics for national publications including Automotive News, BusinessWeek Magazine and the Congressional Quarterly Magazine. He was also a reporter for The Detroit News and The Flint Journal. Greg served as mayoral press secretary in Detroit and director of government relations for public housing in Philadelphia.
He's been a part of 22 political campaigns, dozens of business challenges and various public policy actions. His writings have appeared in various news media outlets and he is often sought out as an expert on politics and public relations.
