Proofread 4 life
I started as a barber, and I learned many sales techniques with the hairstyles I know how to cut. I cut hair for over 7 years, then I had two strokes. After having two strokes, I had become a fall risk in the barbershop, so I had to think hard about my career. Could I ever return to the same person I used to be? After thinking to myself, I concluded that I should do something I like doing. So I went and bought a desktop computer. I spent countless days trying to figure out what I could do on the computer. Then I thought to myself, "I know how to type". Then I tried transcription, but all of the sites already had a full house. So I had to think more. "What subject was I best in at school"? Then I thought, " I was exceptionally good at English". Then I felt that I could help people correct typos. So I thought once more, "What is the name of fixing grammar, spelling errors, or punctuation on a piece of literature"? At that point forward, I knew I had the name of what I wanted to do for a career. It was proofreading, and now I'm here.
Work Terms
My time is very flexible, and I need to fill in the gaps to make myself useful. So, I would prefer anytime during the day, but My time is so vacant I choose to work at any time possible.
