Communications Manager/Copy Editor with 25 years experience seeking a freelance/remote position that will allow me to use my communication's expertise to help achieve goals of the company.

In my most recent position as Communications Manager for CannonDesign (11 years) in Buffalo, NY, an internationally ranked architectural firm, I was responsible for a diverse mix of activities in support of the firm's PR and marketing efforts. My primary function was writer and editor including authoring award and publication submissions, newsletters, employee and project media releases, direct marketing campaigns, architectural profiles and website content.

Prior to joining CD, I served as Senior Coordinator, Media Strategies for Rich Products (5 years) in Buffalo, NY, a leading international frozen food company, with responsibilities as writer, editor and project manager for many of Rich's publishing efforts.

Previous to that association I was Supervisor, Pay-TV at Warner Bros. TV in New York, where I contributed to the growth of their network and cable TV division for 13 years, with responsibilities that focused on authoring sale copy for Warner Bros' vast library of film and made-for-TV product, supporting their movie sales and licensing efforts.

I have earned the respect of my superiors and colleagues as a dependable, hard-working individual who achieves results through a combination of motivation, organization and a high standard of excellence.

In July 2014, I retired as Communications Manager at CannonDesign. I am seeking a part-time/freelance/REMOTE position where I can support your firm's public relations and marketing efforts.
