Bret Killoran is an Audio Engineer, Music Producer, Sound Mixer and Musician based out of Toronto.

Bret Killoran began his career as a performing musician in the band The Modern Hearts (formerly The Brilliance). The band met and formed while attending Music Industry Arts at Fanshawe College. Bret quickly gravitated to the 'behind the scenes' aspects of being in a group. From the beginning he contributed as a co-writer, co producer, guitarist, engineer and mixer. During his time with The Modern Hearts, Bret was able to grasp the concept of keeping an artist's integrity while making great recordings.

Being part of a performing group proved to be a great opportunity to network with other artists. Bret quickly began working with a lot of the bands he met and began his career as a freelance engineer and producer.

As the years passed Bret's freelance opportunities introduced him to many of the top engineers, producers and studios throughout the city. He made great relationships with The Pocket Studios and The Orange Lounge, which is where he records most of his projects as a freelance engineer.

Currently, Bret Killoran and Gary Stitt (of The Modern Hearts) work together as a production team based in Toronto. Bret and Gary make a perfect team and enhance each other's skills with an almost telepathic workflow.
