I am a passionate communicator, driven to help companies and individuals alike achieve their highest goals efficiently and effectively. My career began with eight years as a U.S. military officer receiving some of the world's greatest leadership and analytic training, culminating in four years of work in the fast-paced, high-stakes special operations community. I also served as a strategic consultant for a large, private firm. I was based out of the Pentagon in Washington, DC and had clients serving at the highest levels of the U.S. government. From there I transitioned to a career in diplomacy, working in multiple US Embassies around the globe and interacting with international political and industry leaders on issues including counter-terrorism, nuclear non-proliferation, transnational border security, human trafficking, international trade, cyber security, and economic prosperity. I have a strong academic background as well, having conducted graduate level research, written multiple dissertations, and earned a master's degree with honors in International Security and Conflict Studies. My strengths include: change management, process improvement, research and analysis, and communication, both in terms of presentation development and delivery, as well as written articles and reports. I love working in multi-cultural environments and value diversity. Work Terms
I am operating from the East Coast of the United States and conduct a standard work week, though I am available after hours and weekends if necessary. I am happy to discuss and settle work terms as appropriate but generally set prices based on the project itself rather than hours. I prefer email communication but am available for calls if additional clarity is needed.
