Canaben Engineering Inc. is a Canadian mechanical and piping engineering company based in Sherwood Park, Alberta, operating in full compliance with APEGA (The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta) regulations. The company is built on more than 25 years of professional experience in the oil & gas industry, specializing in EPC, brownfield modifications, operations support, and maintenance engineering services.
Our leadership team brings extensive industry expertise developed through major projects with globally recognized organizations, including WORLEY, SHELL, BP, WOOD, SUNCOR, KBR, and CAIRN ENERGY. This experience includes 14 years of EPC project execution with Worley Canada West supporting Shell Canada’s Scotford operations and BP Whiting Refinery projects in the United States, as well as 12 years supporting operations and maintenance for onshore gas processing facilities and unmanned offshore platforms with WOOD (PSN).
Canaben Engineering Inc. was established to provide practical, high-quality engineering solutions backed by real field and project experience. Our engineering team is experienced in delivering mechanical and piping design, brownfield modifications, refinery and chemical plant support, upstream and downstream oil & gas projects, and operational improvement solutions.
All engineering deliverables are prepared in accordance with the Canaben Professional Practice Management Plan (PPMP), authenticated by licensed Professional Engineers (P.Eng.), and permitted to practice (P2P) where required. Our services are also supported by professional liability insurance to ensure the highest level of quality, accountability, and client confidence.

Availability
Canaben Engineering Inc. is available for both short-term and long-term projects, offering flexible scheduling to accommodate client requirements, project priorities, and different time zones. We are committed to maintaining responsive communication and dependable support throughout all project phases.
Communication
All communication is conducted in English through Guru.com, emailing, phone, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or other preferred client platforms. We provide regular project updates, maintain open collaboration, and ensure timely responses to client inquiries and technical discussions.
Payment Terms
We offer flexible engagement models including hourly, milestone-based, retainer, and fixed-price project agreements. Milestones are clearly defined at the beginning of each project, with invoicing issued upon completion and client approval. Long-term engineering support arrangements are also available.
Deliverables & Quality Assurance
All deliverables are prepared in accordance with applicable engineering standards, client specifications, and Canaben’s Professional Practice Management Plan (PPMP). Engineering documents are reviewed for quality and accuracy, with revisions included within the agreed project scope to ensure client satisfaction.
Project Scheduling & Turnaround
Project timelines are established collaboratively based on project complexity, scope, and urgency. We prioritize efficiency, technical accuracy, and reliable delivery while maintaining high professional standards.
Confidentiality
All client information, project documentation, and proprietary data are treated with strict confidentiality. Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) are fully supported and respected.
