I’m a creative problem solver with experience in IT support, Marketing & Design and Software Development.

These days FileMaker is my weapon of choice, and I have developer certifications in the latest versions, although I have developed in Microsoft Access and with PHP/MySQL in the past too.

I love working with FileMaker, its great for rapid application development and rolls many disciplines into one, data modelling, scripting and UI. I love the way it can be made to integrate with all sorts other systems and can be mixed with other technologies such as JavaScript, ODBC and web services to create solutions which are more than the sum of their parts.

Years spent in design and marketing have come in handy when designing good looking software interfaces and I think I’ve got a good eye for spotting business processes which can be improved, providing the analysis and process mapping to create brilliant business solutions.
