Lester Bangs once said, “The only true currency in this bankrupt world is what you share with someone else when you’re uncool.” And for the record, I am very uncool. I’m an old school, headphone wearing, record collecting, multi-media journalist who will always chose to listen to the Beatles over One Direction. I realized at a young age that with hard work and passion, success was likely to follow. My passions have always included embracing creativity, writing and exploring what goes into making something stand apart in a crowd. All of this has led me down the path of becoming a member of the ever changing industry of social media marketing, writing and overall communication planning.

I have spent the past few years working in the non-profit industry as a digital director, while continuing my work as a published journalist through a variety of outlets including the nationally known, TheCelebrityCafe.com.

In the non-profit industry I had to utilize my social media, web design and advertising skills. I have created a state wide used website in Michigan that helped Michigan residents connect with navigators that can help them enroll into healthcare coverage. 272,539 consumers now have access to healthcare coverage. My unique skill set helped to make that make number what it is today.

While I was working on those projects for the nationally recognized Michigan Consumers for Healthcare, I also have written over 1,000 articles for TheCelebrityCafe.com which is one of the top ten most searched websites on Google. My work has been read around the world, including China. But even with all of this success, I continue to put my focus on expanding my talents and growing as a creative force in these ever changing industries. I’m helping companies and non-profits embrace the new media elements, including social media. This helps to take their brands to the next level.
