Backend Engineer turning complex FinTech systems into fast, secure, scalable microservices.

I'm a Backend Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience building high-throughput microservices for FinTech and WealthTech platforms. My core expertise is designing scalable Spring Boot systems, real-time data pipelines with Apache Kafka, and secure, PCI-DSS compliant APIs for financial applications.
At my most recent role, I built and shipped 15+ production microservices supporting 100K+ active users on a stock trading platform. I architected a real-time market data pipeline processing live tick streams, migrated our analytics database to ClickHouse (85% query latency improvement), and engineered a secure payment gateway using RSA/AES-256 encryption for multi-segment fund settlements.
I care deeply about writing clean, production-grade code — not just code that works, but systems that stay reliable under load, scale gracefully, and are easy for the next engineer to maintain. I'm comfortable owning a project end-to-end: from database schema design, through API development, to Kubernetes deployment and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).
Outside of client work, I run a small traditional gifting business back home, which keeps me sharp on client communication, deadlines, and delivering a polished final product — the same standard I bring to every engineering project.

Work Terms

Available Monday–Saturday, 10 AM – 8 PM IST. I respond to messages within a few hours during these hours, and within 24 hours otherwise. Milestone-based payments preferred for larger projects; hourly billing for ongoing/maintenance work. I share regular progress updates and prefer clear written communication (chat + brief calls when needed for scoping or demos). Happy to sign an NDA before starting if required.
