Work Terms

Working Terms (Web & App Development)

Rates & Billing

Hourly rate: $20 USD/hour

Advance: 40% upfront of the estimated project cost before starting work

Billing unit: 30-minute increments

Minimum engagement: 2 hours for new projects

Scope & Changes

A written scope (features, pages, tech stack, deadlines) will be agreed before kickoff

Out-of-scope requests are estimated separately and require client approval

Minor adjustments are included; new features or pages are treated as change requests

Payments

The remaining 60% is due at major milestones or final delivery (before handing over project files)

Late payments: +1.5% per week after 7 days overdue

Deliverables & Ownership

Client receives source code, design assets, and documentation

Ownership rights are transferred after full payment

Third-party licenses (plugins, APIs, etc.) are billed at cost if required

Timeline & Communication

Working hours: Monday–Saturday, Indian Standard Time (GMT+5:30)

Progress updates are shared regularly through agreed communication channels

Quality & Support

Bug-fix warranty: 14 days after launch for issues within project scope

Ongoing maintenance and updates billed hourly or through a support package

Cancellations & Refunds

If the client cancels mid-project, completed hours are deducted from the advance; any balance is refunded

If I cancel, unused advance is refunded in full
