I am a classically trained database designer with 11 years experience working with FileMaker, SQL (Postgres, MS, MySQL), and NoSQL (Elasticsearch and Reddis).

Professionally, I love problem solving. In pursuit of this I have worked in several different environments, learned to use countless different tools, and all while wearing several different hats. Whether leading a team of developers on a multi-year project, or working one-on-one with a small business owner, I find the greatest satisfaction in developing solutions that truly help my clients grow their business. There are few things in my professional career that are more rewarding than my the happiness of my clients.

Personally, I really enjoy helping others. This coincides with my professional ambitions as creating usable solutions equates to helping another achieve their goals.

Finally, I believe in supporting my community. The PTSA, Watch DOGS, and AYSO are the three organizations that I am most proud of and are the ones that allow me the opportunity to help make a positive impact on our community. To me it is a blessing for me to be able to volunteer my time to these organizations.

Work Terms

I generally work normal business hours in the Pacific Time Zone. However, I am not averse to working outside this time frame.
I prefer communication via email or chat (Skype, Slack, Google Hangouts) but often find it necessary to have a phone call to expedite development.
