Work Terms

1. Work scope and project specifications: Deliverables will adhere closely to the Guru.com Project Agreement.
Out of Scope: A new milestone is needed for any extra work that is requested outside of the original agreement.
2. Payment Terms & Guru SafePay: The client must fund the SafePay balance for the current milestone before work can start.
Milestone Releases: After the deliverable is submitted, the customer commits to releasing SafePay within three days.
Final Payment: Prior to the delivery of the final, unmarked source files, all outstanding monies must be released.
3. Revisions and Feedback: Up to one round of minor revisions are included in the set fee.
Revision Window: After receiving the work, the client has two business days to offer comments.
4. Client Obligations Information Provision: Within one day of the project's start, the customer must supply all required resources and instructions.
Project Delays: The final project timeline will be extended in accordance with communication or asset supply delays.
5. Intellectual Property (IP) Rights Ownership Transfer: Only after final payment clearance through Guru.com does the client acquire full copyright ownership.
Use of the Portfolio: The freelancer is still allowed to show the first page of the watermarked piece in their professional portfolio.

Kill Fee: The freelancer is entitled to reimbursement for all work completed up to that point if the client cancels the project early.
