Hello and welcome! My name is Cody Stephenson and I am the owner/operator of Coded Waves and a certified audio engineer. With over 8 years of experience and education, I have been trained in every aspect of the audio field - Music Production, Post Production, Live Sound, Broadcast, Game Audio, Surround Sound, Audio Business & Troubleshooting. I am a 2012 graduate of Northern Michigan University (Marquette, MI), majoring in Media Production (Bachelor's) and am a 2014 graduate of the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences (Gilbert, AZ), specializing in Audio Production (Certification). I have earned over 16 certifications in various areas of the audio field, 7 of which are in Avid Pro Tools alone. I was an intern at Audio Mix House (Las Vegas, NV), which gave me my first real experience working with signed artists. I've assisted on records for CeeLo Green, Chris Brown & Olivia Newton John. I also mixed and mastered a record for Bizarre of D12. After my internship, I began working at an audio and print book publishing/distribution company called Brilliance Audio. This company is a subsidiary of Amazon. I was able to work alongside Audible during my time here, which was a great experience. My job consisted more on the post production aspect of audiobooks. I left my job at Brilliance Audio and am now full time with my company. I offer services such as music and post production.
Work Terms
This is my full time gig, so I am constantly working and improving my skills. Depending on the project and my current work load, I typically offer a 1 week turnaround time (unless we discuss that a longer turnaround time is needed), with proper communication. I am willing to work hourly or settle on a set amount.
