I am a detail-oriented, driven wordsmith!

I am a graduate student in English Language and Literature at the University of Virginia, one of the country's top-rated universities with one of the best English departments in the world. I have earned an M.A. in English from UVA and am currently working to complete my doctoral dissertation in 18th-century British poetry. I hold a bachelor's degree in English from Sewanee: The University of the South, from which university I graduated as the valedictorian of the Class of 2010. I graduated Phi Beta Kappa and earned the Guerry Award for Excellence in English.

In addition to these educational credentials, I have taught English at the University of Virginia for six semesters and at the University of Indianapolis for one semester. My in-class experiences have enabled me to become a flexible and cogent facilitator for excellence in writing and coherent thought. (Even though I loathe the term "facilitator.") I bring a keen eye and a deep sense of the felicities of the language to every writing and editing job I undertake. I look forward to bringing my knowledge and expertise to bear on your project.
