Over the course of my career, I spent 12 years working as a journalist for newspapers across Canada, including at the Regina Leader-Post as the City Hall reporter. I also run a Canadian history site that features over 700 posts about Canadian history.

I take my writing seriously and have recently finished my first novel and first non-fiction book. I put a lot of care into what I write, and I ensure it is excellent when it comes to grammar and spelling.

Due to my time as a reporter and editor in the news industry, I am also highly committed to deadlines. When I have a deadline, I always make it.
I take my work seriously and ensure that my work is exactly what my clients are looking for.

I have been doing videography work for ten years now. During that time, I have handled video work for news organizations across the Canadian Prairies. I also released a documentary about Saskatchewan in 2015.

Using my software, which includes Premiere Pro, Audition and high quality equipment (incl. a green screen), I make weekly videos about Canada’s history for my YouTube channel

Each day, I also release TikTok videos about Canada's history as well (@Bairdo37)
I use excellent software and equipment to ensure that my voice is crisp with no echoes when I have to do voice over on the videos.

Work Terms

I prefer communicating through Guru and e-mail.
I work from home so my hours are flexible and I can work anytime. That allows me to work on tight deadlines to ensure that I create excellent content for you.
