CTE was started in 1985 as an Auto Glass co. and then added a design component in 1995 after training at Sierra College with AutoCAD. The glass co. was shut down due to a bad economy and pushed the design aspects of the company to the forefront and started working with architects and builders. AutoCAD was the perfect fit given the ease of document control and production and we have never looked back. Currently we teach AutoCAD and pull permits for manufactured homes as well as some architectural and mechanical design.
