Current Accounting was founded in Charlottesville, VA in 2010 with the idea that we are in the Problem Solving industry, not a traditional Accounting industry. Our vision was that the entire accounting landscape was evolving into a remote, yet more centralized model. Filing cabinets were being replaced by inexpensive online storage offerings, programs installed from CDs were being replaced by web-based SaaS (“Software as a Service”) options, and online collaboration tools were making it possible to hire the best talent from anywhere in the world without needing to be physically within the same building. Never before had it been possible to automatically receive monthly financial statements to your phone while lounging on a remote island.
Our goal at Current Accounting was and is to assist companies with this inevitable migration – and plan for the next wave of technological advancements. Since we are a 100% remote company, we are able to completely fit your needs on your schedule.
