At 50 years old I have experience in life pre and post the computer age. I am hungry for knowledge and enjoy the hunt of research and fact checking.
Educated in mass communications , I moved towards journalism, music and art. Later in life I worked in the fine dining industry. I owned a small restauranteur and produced, marketed and promoted a Vermont food product. I learned the basics of SEO and web site design when the internet was an infant.
Currently I am interested in fashion, fiber arts, travel, off grid technology, green building, woodworking, permaculture, the socio-economic impact of HIV/AIDS, and the current devastation of the nations opioid epidemic, health, education and nutrition.
My knowledge and interests are broad ranged. Besides the food industry, music (electric guitars, tube amps) and arts, I have knowledge and interests such as living life..from family matters such as depression, death and grieving and raising children, to cooking and the smooth running a household, Humor, fashion, sewing, fiber arts, real estate, woodworking, house painting, decor, sign painting, home renovations, gardening, travel, health, social services/low income housing, mortgages, politics, relationships, philosophy, psychology...whew!
For Fun, I enjoy reading fiction by writers such as Jeffery Deaver, Michael Connelly, Lee Child,John Sanford and Dean Koontz.
Unfortunately, quite a bit of my article writing for newspapers has been lost and was pre computer age. I do have some samples. I have extensive personal poems and lyrics and recorded songs available electronically.
