A meticulous, creative, and thought-provoking writer, editor, proofreader and typesetter currently pursuing a PhD in English at Royal Holloway, University of London
As a writer, editor, proofreader, and subtitling expert, I have a passion for words and stories in all forms. I am currently studying a PhD in English from Royal Holloway, University of London, where I also hold a Masters with Distinction in Creative Writing. I also hold a First Class Bachelor's in Creative Writing and English Literature from London Metropolitan University, where I also worked as a student success coach.
I have extensive experience in creating, editing, and quality-checking subtitles for audiovisual texts, as well as transcribing hard-to-hear sections and localising content. I also have skills in creating metadata sheets for novels, plays, and poetry collections, using THEMA and BIC codes and generating keywords to enhance their visibility and marketability. Additionally, I have written and edited various genres of creative writing, as well as blogs, academic papers, and educational materials. I am always eager to learn new skills, collaborate with others, and explore new opportunities in the creative and publishing industries.
Work Terms
I am available for work between 9am and 5pm GMT as standard, though I often work earlier and later than these depending on the project and my availability.
I know that individual payment terms varies from project to project, and each client has their own financial capabilities and working patterns, so I would love to discuss it at the appropriate time in the project cycle.
