Danny Boice has 20+ years as a technologist, innovator, designer, influencer and software engineer. Danny has worked professionally as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown teaching some of the University's first courses in lean startup, design thinking, UX, and web/mobile coding. He has written professionally and contributed to The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Forbes, Inc, and Pando. He has also managed hundreds of designers, engineers, scrum masters, project managers and technology directors over the course of his career - for both large Enterprises and disruptive upstarts.
Danny most recently started Trustify out of his own experiences involving trust and safety. At Trustify he aggregated cybersecurity experts, former intel analysts, law enforcement and private investigators into a marketplace.
Before Trustify, Danny served as the appointed Entrepreneur-In-Residence (EIR) to the US Dept of Health and Human Services during the Obama Administration. Working parallel to the White House Conference on Aging, (WHCOA) Danny conceived of new ways to protect vulnerable elderly Americans from fraud.
Prior, Danny founded Speek. Speek's technology ultimately received patents for initiating phone calls, conference calls and online meetings using a URL or link. Speek exited via M&A when Jive Software (NASDAQ: JIVE) acquired the product and technology while Join. Me / LogMeIn (NASDAQ: LOGM) acquired the patent portfolio as part of the transaction.
Before Speek Danny was the youngest Executive at The College Board where he built and managed the 100+-year-old Enterprise's first web, mobile, innovation lab, and product development teams. These teams conceived of and launched innovative web and mobile applications for the SAT, Advanced Placement (AP), and other core mission business segments.
Early in his career, Danny worked as a Software Engineer, Web Developer, and Architect for Dot Coms such as Network Solutions and MusicMaker.com.
