Sound Engineer graduated in 2007 from the University of San Buenaventura. He began his professional career in the world of music and recording studios. This experience of immortalizing instruments and sounds, going on different stages as a musician allowed him to enrich himself as an artist. In 2010 he decided to participate in musical audiovisual projects for internet channels, which led to his interest in image and net cinema. In the following year he participated in the specialty of Original Music as a musical composer in different film productions, short films and television commercials.
In the year 2013 - 2014 he performed the Sound DeIn Design of Mi Edu en Serie for Canal Capital, Sound Design of the INNpulsa winning short film “EL COHETE”, sign musical composition of the Campaign of the National Center for Historical Memory (CNMH) and Signal CoCenter Colombia “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” as well as the musical composition of the feature film “The Eternal Night of the 12 Moons” nominated for best music for a film at the Shock Awards, winner of best soundtrack at the Trieste Italia Film Festival and in Mexico, winner of the special jury award for best documentary film at the 2013 Cartagena Film Festival and an award at the Toulouse Film Festival for best documentary film.
Between 2015-2018 he worked as a composer on countless audiovisual projects, also as a sound designer on several RCN novels including Brothers & Sisters, Revancha and Las Vegas. He also participates as a musical composer for 5 web series by Rafael Novoa and creates music for documentaries by PBI (Peace Brigades International) and Nat Geo: Mujeres de las FARC.
From 2019 to 2020 he has been part of the post-proFrom production team in the Foley area for the Nickelodeon series Noobes, as well as a member of the Fox Networkries NetworkGroup Sound Post team as Creative Sound Post for Group Fox Sports and at Fox TeleColombia with Natgeo Lab and Musicalizer on Telemundo’s Operación Pacífico.
Until 2023, he has worked in advertising at RCN’s in-house Agency and in the channel’s international area. As a musical composer he won the award for best soundtrack at the CIM Castello Spain Film Festival with the short film Boomerang. His most recent works are part of the documentary “A Scream in the Silence” and “A New Dawn” with participation in music, sound design and 5.1 mixing. He was also in charge of the original sound, 5.1 mix and music post for the animation “Ruta del Dorado” that will be projected at the Bogotá planetarium, Colombia.
