Hello, I am Dash Digital, a well-polished professional writer that owns the start-up publishing company DashDigitalInk. I began an interest in writing at the age of 14 from the love of writing music. During my elementary years, my strength in writing was solidified, due to me being placed in advanced reading and writing classes by the second grade. Over the years, I’ve been able to attain skills in many areas of the workforce, but I’ve enjoyed my skills I’ve been able to enhance during my college tenure in writing. When I began college in the fall of 2010, I can admit I was nervous about where my brain was on the intelligence end due to me graduating high school three years prior. I instantly realized my love I truly had for writing when I began my English 098/099 courses. I had two other classes as a full-time student, but my English courses were the only ones that were able to receive my full devotion. As a musician at the time, I realized that because I continued to sharpen my writing skills after high school by writing music, the transition into college English was rather smoother than I expected. The praise that I received from my English professors was a bit overwhelming. I honestly went in with a lack of confidence, but by the end of our first essay assignment, I was feeling like the greatest writer of all time lol. All of my English professors used my essays as their blueprint for how essays should be written. The best feeling from that was when my classmates began to communicate with me out of class for assistance. Now that I am highly educated in the area of writing, this year I have turned it into a career and have had great success in very short time because I have mastered my craft.
