A highly organized, goal-driven, flexible, and hard-working individual with 9 years of proofreading, researching, and teaching experience seeking a responsible and meaningful freelance work
I'm from the Philippines. My early education was in my hometown until high school, where I received various awards. Later, I moved to Davao City and pursued college at Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU). There, I successfully finished my bachelor’s degree (AB major in English Language), with a minor degree in Philosophy.
I began my career as a proofreader and research assistant for PhD researchers who are in the process of writing their dissertations. I then worked as an ESL teacher in a language academy for Korean and Japanese students. For the past 3 years, I served as a volunteer teacher, instructor, and program head in various academic programs at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Institute of Higher Studies (SAG-IHS) located in Taunggyi, Southern Shan State, Myanmar through the Cardoner Volunteering Program offered by the Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU). Following my teaching experiences abroad, I then served as a part-time university instructor and a project-based staff in my Alma Mater for 4 meaningful and productive years. I now hold a Master’s Degree in Philology (Theory and Practice of English) with Honors at South Ural State University (SUSU) in Chelyabinsk, Russia, through the Open Doors scholarship.
I'm an aspiring professor, researcher, and writer. I love trekking and traveling, especially to places of untouched beauty. My hobbies also include watching movies and animes, listening to music, playing video games, and taking pictures.
