5 years in drafting and illustration, 36 years in civil engineering. Designed the body for the first Disneyland train and assisted many companies while participating in the Public Works Information Exchange program. Invented the coil over shock absorber, the first vinyl automobile trim molding and won an award for designing the first modular printer while employed by the City of Dallas. Designed automobile body shells for the major American automobile companies working freelance (see my Facebook page for photos). A 125/250 mpg car design working remotely with engineers in southeast Asia is one of my recent designs.
I work remotely unless transportation and per diem are included. If you need files in other than .dwg format please furnish a licensed copy for the Windows7 platform. I use an Intel i7 processor and solid state drives for speed, but my favorite tools are a no. 2 pencil and plain bond paper. Not a "newbie", but my fees are commensurate with the level of expertise required. I enjoy my work and provide a quality product at reasonable cost.
