Over the years, DJ has worked on nearly every type of media production possible: big budget Hollywood blockbusters, low budget independent films, national live-to-air network TV specials, live-to-tape music specials, music videos for up-and-coming bands, and music videos for superstars, short films, reality TV, documentaries, promos, commercials, and events.
A “jack-of-all-trades”, DJ has worked as an Producer, Director, Assistant Director, Location Manager, Camera Operator, Grip, Production Manager, Production Coordinator and Production Assistant.

He’s written for GQ (men.style.com), AOL Music (at spinner.com), Fast Company and .Mic.

As a Producer, DJ is a skilled liaison between tech, production and creative who sees the big picture, knows how to get the job done with grace and a sense of humor, and isn’t afraid to do the heavy lifting or get his hands dirty. He’s worked with composer, theatrical director and artist John Moran (Book of The Dead / 2nd Avenue), author, teacher, documentarian Douglas Rushkoff (PBS Frontline: The Merchants of Cool), musician, record executive and producer Martin Kierszenbaum (Lady Gaga, Sting) and media consultant Ari Wallach (The Great Schlep).

Producer Jason Taragan (Paul Blart: Mall Cop) of Opposable Thumb and DJ created “TV Show”, a multi-platform, edgy, revolutionary and informative variety show pilot.

His photography has been featured at Spinner.com (AOL Music / AOL News) as well as in the book / CD release “Purgatory/Paradise” by alternative rock band Throwing Muses.

In the world of radio, DJ worked on The MediaSquat with Douglas Rushkoff on WFMU 91.1 FM.

Originally from Omaha, he lives in New York City with his wife.
