About

Turning your thoughts into stories that live and breathe.

Some people find comfort in silence, but for Daniel — or “DD Writes” as many now call him — comfort has always lived in words.

Born with the heart of a storyteller, Daniel has never needed a spotlight to shine. He’s the kind of person who observes life quietly, feels deeply, and writes boldly. His strength lies not just in stringing words together, but in capturing emotions that others often struggle to express. That’s the gift — he doesn’t just write for people, he writes as them.

Over the years, Daniel has worked with authors, business owners, influencers, and everyday people who simply wanted to tell their stories — memoirs, blog posts, social media content, ebooks, fiction, biographies, and heartfelt letters. Some were chasing dreams, others were healing. What they all had in common was a story to tell and a voice that Daniel helped bring to life.

But it didn’t start with clients or projects. It started with Facebook. With random musings typed from the corner of his room. With storytelling that made strangers laugh, cry, or pause and say, “Wow. That’s me.” Daniel didn’t chase attention — attention came because the writing was real. There was always something raw, familiar, and human in his posts. His words never felt like content. They felt like conversation.

Daniel believes in simplicity, honesty, and connection. He doesn’t believe in forced inspiration or fake perfection. “If it’s not real, it’s not worth writing,” he once said to a client. And that’s something he lives by. Whether he’s working on a romantic story set in Abuja or helping someone write their legacy, the goal is the same — authenticity.

His work is more than a job — it’s ministry. Writing, for him, is a way of touching lives. He once wrote a message for a widow trying to launch a foundation. She cried after reading it. “You said what I couldn’t say,” she told him. That’s when he knew that this wasn’t just talent — it was purpose.

When he’s not writing, Daniel is listening. To conversations in taxis. To the soft chatter in church. To the noise on social media. To God. He believes the world is always whispering stories — you just need to be still enough to hear them. His hobbies reflect that too: reading, observing people, taking quiet walks, daydreaming about the next big story, or getting lost in Nigerian drama series for inspiration.

His values are simple but strong: stay grounded, write truthfully, never forget where you came from, and always leave people better than you met them. He holds a soft spot for children, orphans, and underdogs. And maybe that’s why his writing often champions forgotten voices and overlooked souls.

Today, Daniel continues to write — not because he has to, but because it’s who he is. He doesn’t just want to build a writing career. He wants to build something lasting. A legacy. A body of work that will outlive the trends and remind people, long after he’s gone, that someone once cared enough to write with heart.

Work Terms

✍🏽 Work Terms

I take every writing project seriously, whether it’s a short caption or a full-length manuscript. Once we agree on the job, I commit fully — you’ll get my time, attention, and creativity. I value clarity, so before we begin, I’ll make sure we both understand the scope, deadlines, and expectations. That way, there are no surprises.

I don’t rush magic. Good writing takes time, thinking, and sometimes a little space to breathe. But I also respect timelines — if we agree on a deadline, I’ll stick to it or communicate early if anything changes.

⏰ Hours of Operation

I’m available for work and communication between:

Monday – Saturday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (WAT)
Sundays are for rest and recharge — unless it’s something urgent we’ve already discussed.

💳 Payment Terms
• 50% upfront, 50% on completion (for most projects).
• For short-term tasks, full payment may be required before work begins.
• I accept transfers via bank (Nigerian clients) and PayPal or Wise (for international clients).
• Please note: work begins only after the initial payment is confirmed.

Custom or long-term projects can have flexible payment structures, and I’m happy to discuss what works best for both of us.

📞 Preferred Communication Style

I’m very human in how I work — no corporate coldness here. I prefer simple, direct communication that respects time.

You can reach me through:
• WhatsApp (fastest for back-and-forth) (for official documents, longer messages, or project files)
• Phone calls only when necessary or pre-scheduled — I like to keep communication focused so I can deliver your work with clarity and calm.

Once we start, you’ll get regular updates — no ghosting, no confusion. Just real talk and clear progress.

If you’re respectful, honest, and ready to collaborate, we’ll get along perfectly. Let’s build something beautiful with words. ✍🏽 Work Terms
