Machine Learning and Data Science for Business Decision Making and Investment Strategy

I have more than two decades of experience working in the areas of Statistics, Data Science and Machine Learning and have built many predictive analytics and decision support tools. I have also worked extensively in economic forecasting, and investment management, and trading.

I have consulted for several major international corporations and constructed predictive analytic models and decision support models I have also worked for governments and central banks to create macroeconomic forecasting models.

I have also worked extensively in investment management and financial trading. I have worked for two Los Angeles hedge funds and consulted for sevreal others in USA, Europe, and Asia. I have managed client money, and have also managed personal accounts.

Currently, I am working on projects to build
- predictive analytics for a hospitality industry application,
- machine learning tools for a CRM startup, and
- AI tools for financial trading

I have a PhD in Operations Research from Columbia University, a Master's in Physics from Texas Christian University, and a Bachelor's in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. I have published many papers in peer-reviewed journals, spoken at conferences and chaired professional panels.
