A native from Melbourne, Australia, Debra has lived in Germany for five years and London for two years.

A MatadorU graduate and published travel photographer/writer Debra has had no permanent home since 2006. Travelling mostly as a solo female, her freedom has been made possible by selling photos and articles of her experiences.

Aiming to write creative travel narratives that put readers in the place, and perhaps learn something, Debra tries to avoid lazy 'Trip Advisor' reviews. Specialising in unusual and historical sites including cemeteries and the occasional football match.
