Started off in the year 1991 with a small job in the Metal Fabrication Industry, had a small mishap which lead to a change in career.
This time it was in service and providing service to a host of customers, learning on the fly and the job with great people helping and supporting me. Time pass and I got sucked in to the glam world of Sales, Marketing and Business Development within a couple of years. Learned that we really had to slog to get sales and business and it was never easy but made easy with friends and guides. It was tires or tyres at first and coal mines, iron ore mines and truckers that I had to deal with for more than 3 years. Travelling and sleeping during travelling formed a routine till I craved for a change and It came. Change of Location and company as well my first big challenge. Lived up to it and changed jobs again to the Lubricant industry in 1994.
Worked in one of the hottest climes of the country, Chandrapur & Nagpur which steeled me further. Here I scrounged around all the industries like the Iron & Steel, Cement, Open Cast Mining, Coal Mining, Underground Mining, Power, Logistics, Paper & Pulp.
Trade, Retail, Wholesale & Commodity Selling, Dealer Network, C&F, Distributor are some of the words and experiences that I build up during this time, till it was time for a shift in gears to selling highly technical stuff like mechanical seals and systems.This was in 1996 and this phase lasted till the year 2003. Here my knowledge as well as technical skills escalated due to the change in atmosphere from retail to industrial. I added to my repertoire product knowledge, process knowledge and most important people handling skills. I became a manager.
All this lasted till I went overseas to the Gulf where in my cumulative experience built up in India was used to have fantastic fun and run of 10 years, till it was time to come back to base (India).
Now I am In India doing what I want, when I want and doing good.
