My journey into the world of learning and development started in a small garage in a small town in India where I conducted classes for self development for students. One fine day, a student’s parent came to enquire about the program and asked me if I could develop and deliver similar programs for the employees of the organisation where he managed Human Resources. I said yes and made a foray into the world of corporate training from where there was no looking back, though there were bumpy rides and crossroads too. From a banker I graduated to a learning and development professional and unskilled myself in the process.
Today I have to my credit Intellectual Property Rights for programs on self empowerment, development of women leadership, gender sensitivity- the behavioural and legal sides; in addition to awards for women leadership and contribution in the field of education.
I have a zest for leaving an indelible mark that reminds the client of an altogether different experience of the engagement.
My experience in the financial sector as a full time banker taught me that if we care for People, the numbers will automatically be achieved. And that is where I thought that there is no better tool than a personal engagement through Coaching or Training to facilitate a positive transformation.
I have worked with German government bodies for building capacity of business management organisations across India; run workshops with the Confederation of Indian Industries and MNCs, NGOs for developing women leadership apart from others like Creating a gender sensitive culture, Communication for Personal and Business Transformation, Stress Management, Time Management, Business Etiquette, Innovative Thinking.
