Welcome to Design by Christie, LLC. We are an upcoming, Woman Owned Small Business committed to delivering excellence in Interior Design, Architecture & Decorating services in the DC Metro area.

Christie got her start as an interior designer at a young age while her parents were renovating their house. While in charge of organizing the family's furniture and artwork, she quickly developed a passion and skill for artistically designing her family's home to be both more space efficient and aesthetically pleasing so the home was warm, welcoming and unique for her parents guests.

Upon graduating from the University of Virginia in advertising and marketing, she went to work for a large branding and advertising company in New York City. And although she wasn't working full-time as a designer, her love for creating sophisticated interiors stayed with her. It didn't take long for her strongest passion to come out, and shortly after moving to the Big Apple, she worked part-time as an interior designer for NYC's elite.

After nearly 14 years in the advertising and marketing industry, Christie couldn't deny her true love for designing interiors and decided to focus her career on becoming an interior designer full-time. She moved to the DC area in 2019 and has been working hard to help clients realize their dream homes.
