My first job after college was for a magazine publishing company as a copy editor. Almost immediately, I was asked to help the art department with cataloging and scanning photos for print. I was quickly trained in using Adobe software, and soon was laying out editorial pages, color correcting photo images, and creating tables and charts. Within a year, I was promoted to Art Director and eventually wound up being responsible for all editorial design content for up to eight monthly publications. Thus, started my career as a graphic designer.
Since I had found that I had a talent for, and love of, graphic design, I began exploring other avenues and began doing design work on my own. Soon, I was designing brochures, business cards, CD packaging, promotional flyers, and eventually designing and producing wedding and other event invitations.
Today, nearly 19 years later, I have made a career of freelance graphic design. I work with all types of clients: individuals as well as companies, either big or small. Your job will get personalized attention, and will not be completed until both you, the customer, and I are equally happy with the final product.

My rates are always negotiable; I am happy to talk with you about your specific needs and decide whether the project should be quoted on a per job basis, or under an hourly rate.
