Freelance Web Developer with enterprise experience, looking to do something special with a small business.
A little about myself – I have 15 years of experience working for a large corporation and in the last 7 years of my employment have held varying roles as an IT professional, mainly in the design and implementation of customer and business facing software. In these roles I have spent a great deal of time crafting the application design and instructing developers on (mainly offshore) how to build it but rarely gain the opportunity to “get my hands dirty” and fulfill my passion as a full stack web developer. Freelance opportunities such as this enable me to fill this gap and do what I truly love; hand craft web applications.
Through my unique experience, I bring a mix of technical skills, leadership experience, and business acumen, that set me apart from my competitors. In particular, I have experience in the design, implementation, and development of customer and business facing web applications to support the activities of customer relationship management, service / sales operations, commercial web presence, and customer forums leveraging social network integrations. To this end, I have extensive experience with the following:
Technologies:
• Client: HTML5, CSS3 (including bootstrap), JQuery, EJS, VueJS, Angular
• Back End: NodeJS, Express, SailsJS, Java Play! Framework
• DB: MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, MongoDB
• Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, Route53, RDS, S3, Elastic Bean Stalk)
• SAAS: Salesforce.com, ServiceMax

• Certified SCRUM Master: 3 years of experience on projects of varying sizes
• Project Management: 7 years of experience managing projects of varying sizes and tech. stacks
• Solution Architecture: 7 years in design and implementation of full stack enterprise applications leveraging the above technologies
• Freelance Web Developer: 1 year developing commercial web sites and applications using many of the above technologies.

Work Terms
Part time, available less than 30 hours per week. Payment schedule is 20% up front, 30% at mid point, and 50% upon completion.
