Dilini Rathnachandra is a scholar specializing in Agribusiness Management. She completed her B.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences and Management, specializing in Agribusiness Management, at Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka in 2019. She pursued an M.Phil. degree in the same field at the same university in 2025. Her M.Phil. research, titled “Sustainable Entrepreneurial Behaviour and Value Creation as Mediators: Linking Knowledge Transfer, Innovation Acceptance, and Farm Enterprise Performance in Ratnapura District, Sri Lanka,” focuses on how knowledge transfer, entrepreneurial behaviour, and value creation influence innovation acceptance and farm enterprise performance. She also explores sustainable entrepreneurial behavior as a key component of rural development. She is currently working as a Guest Lecturer at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. And also, Dilini has worked as a Research Assistant on projects related to agricultural development, with a strong emphasis on gender-based analysis, women’s empowerment, and agricultural extension. Her broader research interests include the role of gender in agribusiness management, sustainable agriculture, entrepreneurship and sustainable entrepreneurship, and rural development. With over 25 peer-reviewed publications, she is committed to advancing inclusive and ethical agricultural practices while fostering gender equality and sustainable economic opportunities for rural communities.
