About

I hold a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki). The last few years, I am working remotely for a German consulting company called Arconsis (https://www.arconsis.com/) as Lead Backend Engineer and Software Architect, and now I am looking for a new challenge and Leverage seems perfect.

My main responsibilities in Arconsis included architecture the infrastructure, building a Restful Backend For Frontend API built using Quarkus, Kotlin, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform to support the new Adidas mobile app for retail stores, and participate in Adidas microservices to enrich them to support payments using terminals for retails stores built using Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform.

Before that, I worked for an English startup called Limbic (an AI app for mental health https://limbic.ai/) as Lead Software Engineer and Software Architect. My main responsibilities in Limbic included architecture the infrastructure, building a Graphql API (Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Docker) to support the web and mobile app, building a RESTful API (Node.js, AWS, Docker) to handle the authentication, a Real-Time Data Processing API (Node.js, AWS, Docker) to collect data from mobile apps like accelerometry, heartbeat, location and gestures, process them using AWS Kinesis and store them to data warehouse for further analysis. Also I created several microservices (independent Node.JS components and serverless AWS lambdas components) to predict human emotion, send push-notifications to clients, using event driven communication, in order to build a scalable emotion tracking system.

Before that, I worked for a Norwegian startup called Socius (a turnkey ad builder https://www.socius.co/) as Backend Engineer. My main responsibilities in Socius included architecture the infrastructure, building two RESTful APIs (Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) to support the web apps.
