Mechanical Design Engineer | SolidWorks CAD | Product Design & Prototyping
I’m a qualified Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical design, CAD modeling, product development, and prototyping.
I specialize in SolidWorks and have experience taking mechanical concepts from sketches and ideas to detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and prototype-ready designs.
My experience includes Part & Assembly Design, Sheet Metal Design, Enclosure Design, Mechanism Design, 2D Engineering Drawings, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), 3D Printing, Rapid Prototyping, and design modifications.
I have worked on robotics, mechanical mechanisms, product enclosures, prototypes, and engineering projects, giving me a practical understanding of how a design needs to function beyond simply looking correct in CAD.
In addition to engineering and design work, I run Adstark, a design and costing services business based in India. Through this work, I have experience working directly with clients, understanding project requirements, preparing cost estimates, developing designs, and supporting projects from concept through prototyping and manufacturing.
I can work from hand sketches, reference images, existing CAD files, dimensions, or an initial concept and develop a clean, functional, and manufacturable design.
My approach is straightforward: understand the requirement, develop the design, consider manufacturing and cost, review the details, and deliver accurate files that are ready for prototyping or manufacturing.
I value clear communication, attention to detail, practical engineering, cost-conscious design, and delivering work that meets the actual requirements of the client.
Work Terms
I am available for both short-term and long-term mechanical design projects. I prefer to understand the project requirements clearly before starting and maintain regular communication throughout the development process.
I am generally available during Indian Standard Time (IST) and can coordinate with international clients as required. Communication can be handled through Guru messages, with project discussions, requirements, revisions, and deliverables kept clear and organized.
I am comfortable working on hourly or fixed-price projects depending on the scope and requirements. For larger projects, I prefer to establish the scope, deliverables, timeline, and milestones before beginning.
I aim to provide accurate, practical, and professional engineering work while keeping the client updated throughout the project.
