I want to contribute some quality work to make the world a better place.
I was born in 1934. I did M.Sc. in Physics from Gauhati University in 1959. Later on I did M. Sc. in the Department of Electronic Engineering of the University of Hull, U.K., by researching into Electromagnetic Interference from Silicon Controlled Rectifiers from Oct. 1967 to 1969, and then Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Salford, U.K.
I have served in the following positions:
1. Lecturer in Physics in Lady Keane College, Shillong, Meghalaya, from April, 1959 to Dec., 1961;
2. Lecturer if Physics in Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat, Assam, from Jan. 1062 to Oct., 1065;
3. Assistant Registrar in Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh, Assam, from Oct., 1965 to Oct., 1967.
Then I went to the U.K. for higher studies. After returning, I served as
4. CSIR Pool Officer in the Dept. of Physics, Dibrugarh University, from August, 1972 to April, 1974;
5. Assistant Registrar in Dibrugarh University, from April, 1974 to May, 1976;
6. Deputy Registrar in Dibrugarh University from May, 1976 till March, 1988;
7. Deputy Secretary in the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, from March, 1988 up to October, 1993;
8. Registrar (and later as Assistant Professor, Training & Placement) in the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST), Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, from Oct., 1993 to Feb., 1998. Then I retired from service.
Subsequently, I have served as
9. Director-cum-Principal, in the N. K. D. Junior College, Tinsukia, from Aug., 2014 to July, 2015, and
10. Director (Academic) in C. G. Purbanchal College, Dibrugarh, from Apr., 2016 to Aug., 2017.
Work Terms
I do not keep any fixed hours for work. It will be as the work demands.
Payment expected: $40 per hour, ( Minimum $10 per hour)
