Edom Baheru is a performance artist, facilitator and MC based in Addis Ababa. Her practice is grounded in Afrocentrism and her focus is on projects that support a new generation of artists to come together in the Horn of Africa, working towards a new era of collaborative art that can stand shoulder to shoulder with the global industry.

As a member of Project AWE [Artists With Elbows], Edom collaborates with an international network of artists to:
* Explore ways into deeper collaboration between artists, institutions and communities.
* Support experimentation and develop new work that aims to disrupt problematic narratives and power dynamics.
* Design strategies for hope mongering in the world.
