I strive to do my best at every task given me, meeting deadlines and goals along the way. I have Fluent/Native English capabilities.

I have a college education with experience in the clerical field. I have been married to my husband for 30+ years and have two adult daughters. I have also been employed as a teacher's aid, working with physically and mentally challenged students as well as a choral accompanist for middle and senior high school choruses. I've written several children's books, none published as of yet, a work of nonfiction based on our family as it deals with the repercussions of Lyme Disease and am currently working on another nonfiction based on Post Concussion Syndrome and how our family has developed adjustments and coping skills to maintain a healthy family cohesiveness. For the past three years, I was employed as a substitute teacher for a local Christian school. Now, I am a "domestic engineer" while helping my husband in his position as a pastor.

I am computer literate, using Microsoft Word, browsing the internet, email, using PowerPoint, typing correspondence at 80+ wpm, using the copy machine, printer and fax machine. I have over 10 years of editing and proofreading experience. I have been working on various editing and proofreading projects during the last four years using another freelance website. I currently am employed as an editor/proofreader on a regular basis.

Work Terms

I am willing to work as many hours as it takes to complete projects by required deadlines. I typically will ask $35/hour, but can be negotiable depending on whether the client is paying per hour or per project.
