Hi, I am Elle a native Chinese who speak excellent English, I have been told that I speak better English then a lot of Americans. I used to be an oncologist 5 years ago. The reason why I changed my career into English translation is because I got tired of working in lab and killing animals. It is just not what I want to spend my time on.I used to do reports in meetings with our American clients, and find out that I am a better interpreter than my coworkers. When I was offered to sign working contract after 3 years of hard working, I refused it, because I was so tired and I want to rest. But I was worried after a week of relax, and start to worry about my future. What can I do? I was asked to help a friend to go to travel with a foreign client who visiting Shanghai. His American Client thought I was hired by my friend as an interpreter that day, because his client really think that I was so professional and thought I am a professional interpreter. So, at that point. I became an English/Chinese interpreter. Now 5 years had past. I already is an experienced professional interpreter. It made me think about the line in Forest Gump" life was like a box of chocolate, you never know what you gonna get"
