Experienced Internal Audit and Business Advisory professional with extensive experience in risk management, internal controls, and compliance requirements.

My career journey began with my educational pursuits, where I obtained a Master of Commerce degree from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan in 2020. Alongside my academic achievements, I also attained the prestigious Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification in the same year.

I then embarked on my professional work experience, starting as an ACCA Trainee at Sui Southern Gas Company Limited from August 2013 to September 2014. During this time, I actively participated in the development of the audit strategy for the year 2014/15 and represented the Internal Audit Department at Claim Assessment Committee meetings.

Following my traineeship, I joined Deloitte as an Intern from September 2014 to January 2015. In this role, I gained valuable experience in executing methodologies specific to Enterprise Risk Services. I served major clients, collaborating with a professional team to address workflow issues and providing various accounting and auditing services.

Subsequently, I worked at Jaffer Brothers Pvt Limited as a Group Executive from January 2015 to March 2017. As the leader of the Audit and Corporate Affairs department, I improved audit scope by identifying inconsistencies in workflow across the group. I conducted business-wise risk assessments and presented reports to senior management, contributing to significant value creation.

In April 2017, I joined Lucky Textile Mills Limited as an Assistant Manager. In this role, I developed and reviewed the annual audit plan, supervised a team of subordinates, and finalized numerous audit reports. By streamlining audit programs and identifying developing issues, I facilitated value creation and retrenchments amounting to millions of Pakistani Rupees.

Continuing my career progression, I joined KPMG Chartered Accountants as a Senior Supervisor from February 2020 to February 2021. I led internal audit services for top-tier clients such as ICI Pakistan Limited and Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority. I provided direction and coordination to the engagement team, suggested risk management guidelines, and contributed to strengthening the control environment.

Following my tenure at KPMG, I worked at Crowe Hussain Chaudhry & Co. Chartered Accountants as a Deputy Manager from March 2021 to December 2021. In this role, I headed the Internal Audit and Business Advisory Services, serving notable clients such as the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan and Port Qasim Authority. I administered engagements, generated substantial revenue, and led a team to ensure the reliability of financial, operational, and information systems.

Currently, I am a Senior Manager at Salman & Raheel Chartered Accountants | SRP Global LLC, starting from January 2022. In this role, I have planned, led, and delivered risk-based internal audits for a diverse range of domestic and international clients.
