About

I will do LabVIEW programming for NI Hardware

As a LabVIEW programmer, I worked for 2 years as System Integration Engineer at Digital Automation Technology (DAT), which is a UAE based authorized distributor & integrator of National Instruments (NI) and Quanser, my job profile includes avionics applications ranging from data link processors to parametric analyzers for critical and time-sensitive parameter logging for aircraft with the help of LabVIEW FPGA to accomplish tasks within nanoseconds or microseconds precision. I also worked on Pulse Doppler Radar and Radar Target Emulator to test the integrity of the Radar System. The application is developed on LabVIEW FPGA and LabVIEW Host using USRP X310 as hardware. My responsibility at DAT also included the integration the third-party instruments with NI-Hardware through LabVIEW. I enjoyed my time working on system integration projects, including test benches for engine, amplifier, and temperature, where I designed LabVIEW based application to control and monitor both electrical and mechanical functionalities of Unit Under Test (UUT) by means of communication protocols with embedded devices. For example, In Engine Test Bench, I used NI-USB CAN Module to monitor all the necessary engine parameters and a National Instrument’s Power Quality Analyzer to monitor and log electrical parameters such as voltage dip and flicker. In Temperature Test Bench, I used NI-CDAQ with NI-Analog Module to acquire data from a chain of thermistor assemble on the UUT in the temperature chamber and creating the heat map on 3D model of the UUT in LabVIEW. In Amplifier Test Bench, I used RS-485 Communication module to integrate XP power supply, which was used to power up amplifiers and provide up to 60 Amp DC current. I also integrated Well-pro Digital Relay module that communicates on RS-485 Modbus, to enable/disable the chain of amplifiers.
I strongly believe that I would be a valuable addition to your team.
