If you were to ask me how I feel about writing, I'd simply tell you, "it's my jam."

I am a content creator and editor residing in New York City. Even more specifically, The Bronx. I absolutely enjoy helping entrepreneurs and professionals plan and create engaging content.

Why?

Words--when used effectively--are powerful.

They can help a seasoned business owner turn prospects into clients. Words can help startups establish themselves as experts in an industry.

And for the entrepreneur in between startup and seasoned? Well, words can help them engage with their audiences so that they can continue to confidently grow their business.

I currently publish Femi Writes, a blog focused on content marketing and creation for entrepreneurs. In the past, I have served as editor-in-chief of The Entrepreness, a web magazine dedicated to women business owners and as the African-American History Expert for About.com (currently known as Thought.co)

I began my writing career in 1999 at Black Enterprise writing profiles of entrepreneurs and conducting research for feature articles. Since then I have written for publications such as the South Florida Sun Sentinel and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram?.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Fine Arts from the City College of New York and a Master of Science in secondary education from St. John's University.

As a seasoned writer, I use all of my skills--as a daily journalist and online content writer--to help entrepreneurs reach their targeted audiences. From catchy (yet truthful!) headlines to well researched, keyword rich content for websites and blogs, I am ready to help your business grow.
