Bridging Communication, Innovation, and Science: A Multidisciplinary Professional
I am an Italian-Colombian Biologist and adaptive professional with a distinct career path that weaves together rigorous scientific research, social innovation, and creative storytelling. My journey is defined by a curiosity for the world and a drive to solve complex problems through a "One Health" perspective—connecting human, animal, and environmental well-being.
Academic Foundation & International Research In December 2022, I graduated with top honors from a two-year Master’s program in Agro-Food-Animal Biotechnology. My academic climax was a thesis focused on Transboundary Animal Diseases and the "One Health" approach. During an intensive 8-month traineeship in Germany, I was selected to travel to Ghana to implement the theoretical models we were developing in a real-world setting. This experience was a turning point, proving my ability to adapt scientific concepts to diverse field conditions. Following my graduation, my research potential was recognized with a Ph.D. proposal to further evolve my thesis project within a natural park in Nigeria.
Expanding Horizons: Humanitarian Aid & Innovation At the start of 2023, I chose to pause my academic trajectory to gain on-the-ground experience in humanitarian aid. I spent four months in Turkey (January–April 2023) with an NGO, a period that crystallized my desire to work in impact-driven environments. Upon returning to Italy, I was selected for a competitive talent empowerment program where I mastered Design Thinking methodology and sustainability strategies.
This led to a role at Almacube, the University of Bologna’s Innovation Hub. Here, I thrived in a stimulating, multicultural ecosystem, managing cross-functional collaborations and experiencing significant professional growth. This role confirmed that I perform best in vigorous, fast-paced environments that require both analytical and creative thinking.
Current Role: Strategic Communication & Management in Nepal Currently, I am based in Nepal, engaged in a Humanitarian Aid Volunteering Experience with a local NGO. While my core mission involves empowering children through school activities, my role has expanded significantly due to my diverse skillset. I currently lead the NGO’s Communication Department, where I design and execute social media strategies and manage content creation.
Leveraging video editing training acquired during university, I produce high-quality visual assets that tell the story of our impact. Beyond creativity, I handle project management tasks and coordinate a rotating team of international volunteers, ensuring operational continuity and team cohesion.
Cultural Adaptability & Core Competencies My background is inherently multicultural. With Italian and Colombian origins, I have navigated diverse cultural landscapes since toddlerhood. I am a native speaker of Italian and Spanish, fluent in English, and possess a basic command of German a
