At the University ofJohannesburg, I studied anthropology and geography. After my studies, I furthered my qualifications by gaining my FGASA field guide qualification for vehicle and walking based safari. These fields have remained my professional passion, along with sharing my knowledge and experience through guiding and writing.

I have worked many years in the fields of conservation and as a safari guide. In a vehicle and on foot, I have gained valuable experience in the wilderness of Africa. My interest and knowledge of nature and the universal workings of it is rooted in my professional and personal life.

My interest in philosophy, spirituality, mythology and the occult came from an early age and continues unto this day. I have studied and practiced a variety of spiritual concepts. My interest in the natural world has only served to enhance my personal spiritual and scientific inquiries into the nature of our reality.
