Degree in Mechanical engineering with experience in management.

I have spent the last 4 and a half years of my career as an engineer at one of Anglo American Platinum’s largest conventional mines and associated mineral processing plants. As an engineer, I was responsible for management, maintenance, project management, safety and reliability, applying tools like root cause analysis, risk assessments and data analysis for optimisation of various hard and soft systems.

In 2016, I was recognised and awarded for Excellence in Reliability Incident Report Quality” “by the Anglo American Platinum Asset Management Department for Amandelbult Complex. I was also afforded the opportunity to present findings for such incidents at one of the Association for Mine Resident Engineers’ safety seminar.

I am in the process of emigrating from South Africa, and thus have time on my hands to do some freelance work.

Work Terms

My hours are flexible and I can dedicate up to 20 hours a week on projects. Email would suffice for communication, but I would be open to Skype calls as well. Terms of payment would depend on the project.
